Total Solar Eclipse 20° Leo on 12 August 2026
The Lunar nodes recently shifted into the Leo/Aquarius axis.
A Solar Eclipse happens when a New Moon (Sun conjoined Moon) occurs close to the North or South node of the Moon, known as the Nodes of Fate and destiny. Eclipses can mark major changes, beginnings and endings that unfold over time.
I've been listening to Jack Bruce and Cream a lot this past week.. so many great songs composed by him and written with poet Pete Brown - I Feel Free released as a single Dec 1966 (UK) and it's the first track on their debut album, Fresh Cream (U.S.)
Guess what? Jack Bruce, (14 May 1943 - 25 Oct 2014) was born with a Taurus Sun, Virgo Moon, and the Lunar Nodes at
20° Leo/Aquarius His Leo North Node is the exact upcoming Eclipse degree, so cool! Also Happy Birthday Ginger Baker
(19 Aug 1939 - 6 Oct 2019) born with Sun 25° Leo. Those two were a bull and a lion combo, fixed earth sign vs fixed fire.
I was born with the Nodes of Fate at 21° Leo/Aquarius, so this Eclipse happens right on my North Node as well.
Sabian Symbol for N Node in my own birth chart:
22 Leo: A carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission.
Kozminsky Symbols for 20°01' Leo Eclipse & Jack Bruce N Node
20 Leo: A violin and bow lying on some sheets of music.
21 Leo: A man in the robes of a magician tracing mystic signs on the sands of the seashore in the silence of night.

We're in a New Moon phase. I haven't been in the mood for writing, just focused on dance and music lately, but I'm fascinated with symbols, they can be insightful and wonderful for the imagination.
The Intense New Moon 24° Gemini on 14 June 2026
This one felt hard, and as the Moon moved into its water kingdom of Cancer the next day, there was a heavy emotional downpour. I'm sure a lot of people felt something similar.
Kozminsky Symbols for the New Moon Gemini:
25 Gemini Image: A hand issuing from the heavens holding a great scroll on which is shining a pentagram.
Description: Denotes one of considerable occult force who has a mission to perform and must do what he is destined to do, no matter how strongly he may be opposed. It will be useless for the native to allow himself to be drawn into the world's gambling and money schemes or towards the lower elements of material life. It is a symbol of Etherealism.
24 Gemini Image: A beautiful woman giving bread to a crowd of starving people. From behind her, showing dimly through a haze of white light, is a high Intelligence placing a crown of a bright strange metal on her head.
Description: Denotes one who accounts charity the highest of the virtues-charity of soul, charity of thought, and charity of action. When a generous act is performed, when charity is given to the opinions of others, and in relieving the sufferings of others, when there is unselfishness in act and judgment, the mystic crown bathed in holy light is on the head. It is a symbol of Glory.
*Symbols round up to the next degree if it's after the 00 minute mark, but if it's close to 00 degrees, I find it useful to look at both symbols. The New Moon Gemini was 24 degrees, 02 minutes.
